This model is made with the fins placed forward a touch for a looser feel, with a pin tail and single tail channel allowing more hold. Giving what everyone wants, fast but loose. I have made one for myself also that I’ll share soon.

Same model I recently made for Dave, playing with the idea of placing the fins forward a touch for a looser feel, with a smooth pin tail and single tail channel. This surfed far beyond my expectations, very loose and had speed to burn.

I RECENTLY MADE THESE TWO FOR MATT TO TAKE TO INDO. THE ENTITY CAME OUT OF ONE OF MY EARLIEST COLLABORATIONS WITH DAVE AND HAVE HAD GREAT FEEDBACK AS IT’S SUCH A VERSATILE ALL ROUNDER. ADDING ABIT OF LENGTH AND THE PIN TAIL ALLOWS EXTRA HOLD ON THOSE POWERFUL DAYS. ALSO SOME STABILITY ADDED WITH THE TAIL CHANNELS. BOTH OF THESE LOVE ALL CONDITIONS AND GO WELL WITH ANY FIN CONFIGURATION.
 
THIS FIRST ONE FEATURES A STRINGERLESS CARBON RAIL WITH A SWALLOW TAIL. FUTURE FIVE FIN OPTION.

RTT

RTT FOR MATT ANDERSON.

The RTT is a collaborative creation by myself and Dave Rastovich, first designed it in 2009. This board is built with a unique full-length ‘Torus’ channel that runs through a single concave, providing excellent hold in hollow sections and allowing you to generate speed effortlessly with your front foot. Unlike traditional twin fins, the RTT offers superior control and can generate incredible speed. A very versatile surfboard that offers exceptional performance in a wide range of conditions. Use the GMC upright twins and the keels for smaller conditions.

Featured here, is one I crafted for Matt Anderson, incorporating flax seed cloth for added strength. These boards are known for their remarkable durability, making them suitable for all types of journeys, from plane trips to tackling heavy Indonesian drainers like Nias. This particular board has been in use for over seven years and after being on long haul trips around Australia, plane and boat trips around Indo, it continues to perform exceptionally well.
